Watching him carefully Helena almost had to turn her head away from him, but then that meant that she wouldn't be able to see him and make sure that he hadn't disappeared from her site and, oh she didn't know... sneak up behind her when she least expected it and attacked her, trying to finish off what he had begun when they had first met? Helena shook her head and looked at him harder.
He soon began to move and Helena almost started out of her perch on the rock as she used her steely gray eyes to follow his movements carefully. Once she realised that he had disappeared Helena frowned and stood up, listening to the wind, waiting to hear his footsteps, soon she heard them down by the lake and she closed her eyes not really wanting to go back to the lake but at the same time daring herself to. With a sigh Helena stood and walked back to the lake.

Finally back at the lake, Vyran seemed to be by himself finally, away from the ever peering eyes of Helena. It was almost like she owned the forest when she did, however he controlled entrance to such. This was the reason for their first encounter, and if she continued to pester him, there would be a second encounter, this one much less pleasant. The next time, if there was to be one, he wouldn’t be so merciful upon her.
At the lake once more, the elf looked into the water while sitting by the lake. A sigh escaped his lips softly and soon he glanced around before looking at his reflection once more. Slowly his hand reached into the water and pulled his hand out, wiping the water over his face. This was one of the few things he did to prove his existence to himself, since it almost seemed like he didn’t exist to others. All others knew about was the rumor about these woods. The rumors revolved around him, but they were still rumors and not facts.

Maybe it was true that she wasn't herself, afterall Helena had been hearing strange things just of late and also she had been feeling strange things, something that she had never really experienced before and prehaps this was why she had decided to starting taunting a foe of hers? No? She did not smile as she made her way back to the lake, she was sort of in a daze and she really did not know what to do or make of Vyran at the moment.
Maybe he was the one that was taunting her, sounded superficial to her but Helena merely shrugged off those thoughts and continued to her destination. She was afraid of the water but would not let Vyran know that she was, as soon as she was there Helena didn't bother to hide he already knew that she was there and her efforts would be pointless and she would have been wasting time.

Soon a familiar appearance was sensed at the lake and out of the corner of his eye, Vyran saw Helena once more. A sigh escaped his lips and he turned his head back to the water that was in front of him. There she was again, taunting him with her presence once more, and this time she didn’t even try to hide it. A sigh escaped the rogue’s lips and he stretched a bit before dipping both hands in the water. Soon the hands were removed and run down Vyran’s arms, which made his muscles sort of shimmer due to the light.
It took a few moments, but the rogue actually spoke first, but his tone was a cold one, letting her know that he didn’t want her around. “Here to taunt me for not killing you? I wouldn’t recommend doing that for too long. I am a bit unstable, and there’s no telling when the next time I’m going to snap is.” All throughout his speaking, his eyes never wavered from the water in front of him, never did his eyes wander once to try to meet her own.

Helena could have cursed herself for being so foolish by not hiding herself from him and not letting him know that she was there, she could have hit herself for doing that and wondered vaguely if she had been stupid to not hide herself from him, she also wondered if he was fooling around or something like that, but then shook her head and threw away those thoughts. Helena knew that Vyran wasn't like that, she knew what he was like... well partly.
When she did finally manage to ger behind a tree without really being seen, since he had been looking at the lake which made her shudder lightly, Vyran spoke out to her and Helena almost had to frown at him as she listened carefully to his every word and hung onto them like dew to a leaf after a night of solid rain. "Oh?" Was all she could say afterwards as she took a step towards him.

Her response was short, but challenging. If she doubted his mentality then she would be in for a rude awakening. Just the way she answered him brought a bit of anger to surface and soon Vyran could feel his hands reaching back for the swords that hung from his lower back. It took a deep breath but soon those hands hung lifelessly at his side once more but never did he break his eyes from the reflection that he saw in the water.
“If that is your way of challenging me that is even more unwise than before.” A sigh escaped his lips as he soon turned around and stood up. The rogue then took a few more steps into the water until his feet were touching it. The lake here was his only saving grace from killing everything in sight, but even its alluring grace was starting to wane with the boldness and brevity of the woman that seemed to be challenging his demeanor.

After she had taken a step towards him and said what she had said, Helena almst let a smirk cross her face as she watched him carefully, she knew all too well what he was like, but why the hell was she there? Why the hell had she followed him? Why the hell had she taunted him with her prescence around him as he was eating? I will tell you why... because she likes the notion of fighting a formiddable opponent, especially one that she had already had the pleasure of fighting before and actually lived to tell the tale and haunt him with her looming prescence, allowing him no peace as a reminder of what he did.
She watched him as he reached for the swords on his back and tapped her foot almost impatiently as she made a clicking noise with her tongue and folded her arms across her chest. As she did that he began to talk and Helena narrowed her eyes at him as she listened to his words and looked past him at the silver lake, trying to supress a shudder so that she wouldn't give away the fact that she was afraid of water. Yeah she was brave, but sometimes people, or elves, had fears that they didn't want others to know about.
"I do not think so."

More taunting from the woman, but this time it was verbal and the sanctity of the lake had lost its allure. Quickly Vyran had reached down to one of the swords on his lower back and lunged out towards Helena, slashing the blade at her waist. “I have given you chance after chance to rid yourself from my sight, yet you continue to taunt me. I care not about your position; in fact it enrages me even more. My people should be ruling these woods, not the damn Saleria.”
Vyran had his free hand on the hilt to his other sword, readying himself for another heated battle between the two. The last one ended in a draw with both walking away perfectly fine, but this time that won’t be the case. It was going to be one or the other that will die here, and if it was up to him, the person that is going to die will not be Vyran, but instead Helena.

Helena stopped short of what she was doing almost as though she had anticipated his attack, afterall she had spent countless hours in the forest watching him carefully, so that she could study his fighting techniques and make ready strategies for use if she should ever find him crossing her path once again like he had all those years ago. Honestly it was a miracle that both of them had escaped without a single scratch, there had been no bloodshed but Helena was pretty certain that there would be this time around, she could sense it and the feeling must have been mutual.
With a sigh, Helena unsheathed her own sword at the same time he lunged towards her with his own, she yelped and dodged out of the way as quickly as possible while using her sworded hand to hit him on the shoulder, or at least that is what she was aiming for anyway. It was definately going to be another heated battle as she turned around, cloack billowing behind her as she side stepped and lunged at him with her sword once more. "Let us make haste of this, be the gentleman and allow a lady indulgence in killing you quickly."

His blade had missed its mark and soon he felt that there was an attack coming for him. Sliding out of the way, Vyran slid beneath the sword and hopped back up onto his feet, hearing the taunts from the woman. A grin grew over his lips as he shook his head. There were no words going to come from his mouth now, there was no need for it. Soon he rushed once more, swinging his sword for the hip of Helena, hoping to get in deep enough to cut her skin so that his ritual could begin.
This fight was going to be a heated one, and blood was going to be shed. Vyran vowed that it wasn't going to be his own blood, but the blood of the woman. She had taunted him this entire day and now it was time for her to make a crimson payment.

She knew that he was the strong silent type, never really talking during battles and all that stuff, but Helena didn't really care for that thought at the moment, she was too busy concentrating on what not to do and how to dodge his attacks, for he certainly was one formiddable opponent and Helena was sure that she would at least get one scratch from this battle, even if she did end up killing him like she had sworne to do the first time they had fought together. She sighed as she was moving and planned her next move, anticipating his attack, but not completely.
As she turned around Helena saw the blade coming for her hip and she had to jump back a couple of steps so that she could get out of the way as quickly as possible, but it didn't quite go to plan and the blade sliced through her cloak and then her trousers and her skin, the wound wasn't deep, but it did bleed and she shook her head, looking up at him with anger on her face as she lunged at him with her sword while bringing out her other and reaching around his back so that she could cut him back.

Blood was finally shed and it was staining his sword. Bringing the sword back, he licked the blade and then licked his lips. The ritual was starting, but he didn't have time to embellish in it at the moment. There were two blades flying towards him at the moment and he had to choose what to do. He could easily deflect the two blades with his own swords, but at the same time, he could keep one sheathed and just deflect one.
Quickly he turned sideways to get between the blades, the one behind him, cutting through the back of his shirt while the one in front of him barely missed his front, At the same time, he brought his own blade down quickly towards the shoulder of Helena, almost positive that this blade was going to make good contact.

The pain wasn't immense it was just a scratch and she had to keep telling herself that, for if she didn't then Helena would surely panic about... no wait, no she wouldn't because she's not really like that, so with a sigh she placed a hand on her hip and allowed the blood to soak it, she touched the ground with her sword just as he got between both of her swords and was hit by the one that she had placed behind him, she hoped that it tore skin, but she also didn't want to see him get hurt.
There was his blade coming towards her shoulder and just before it got to her Helena shifted position, and jumped forwards a little bit more so that the blade did not get slice her or anything like that, she smirked to herself as she turned around as quickly as she possibly could and lashed out with her left blade as her right hand was at her hip, trying to stem the flow of blood.

It was a crafty move, not to get cut by the blade. But her side was still bleeding and this brought an almost sinister grin to grow across the lips of Vyran. But as soon as he grinned there was another blade coming towards him and there was only one way to get away from it. Quickly he unsheathed his other sword and placed it in the path of the one coming towards him, allowing only the tip to cut his arm. Now it was his blood that started to pour, rather trickle.
But at the same time, his right blade had swung around and the point was at a thrust towards the stomach of Helena. If she was so concerned with the gash on her hip, she wouldn't be able to defend herself as easily as she would like, and Vyran will use that knowledge to his advantage.

It was indeed a crafty move, but Helena hadn't noticed what he had did she was in pain and trying to concentrate on not getting sliced up again, it was something that she really didn't want to experience again. She moaned a little as he unsheathed his other sword and also as she moved to get out of the path of it, but putting pain on her leg as she did so was making her lose her balance a little as she did so and almost fell over from it. She sighed again and looked over her shoulder at something. Getting him to the water would be easy but she would be afraid of going near it.
At her attempts of moving she didn't notice the next blade that was making its way towards her and Helena had hardly any time to get out of the way. With a painful twirl she only managed to get out of most of the way and the blade caught her stomach, it was a scratch, but enough to make her stumble into the lake and fall in the water with a splash. Shit.
