Once again the blade had hit its mark, even if it was just a splash. There was more blood shed and slowly Vyran brought the blade to him and ran his finger across the blood, drawing a line over his right eye. Soon he licked the rest of the blood from the blade and looked to Helena in the water. If anything, this gave him the advantage, making her a bit slower.
His movements towards her slow, almost like what a lion would do to its prey. A smile was across his lips and soon he thrust out towards her with both blades, each going for a shoulder. This blow would pierce the shoulder and hopefully the muscle, incapacitating her arms for the duration of this fight. If that was the case than this fight was on its way to being over and there will be another head on his mantle.

Once she was in the water Helena tried her hardest not to hyperventilate and struggle, it wasn't that she couldn't swim, it was more too do with the fact that she had had, as a child, an unfortunate incident that had involved a large span of water and a hell of a load of ice. She tried her hardest to get up but ended up back in the water again and this time the blade was again coming for her and Helena took a deep breath and submerged herself in the water so as to get out of the way of the blade and not get hurt again, which she did and was glad.
But then she found out that she couldn't breath and splashed around a bit, unable to breath and trying her hardest to get up and get away from the water, but the current was sweeping her further into the lake and she was having trouble, Helena kept going under and the more she did the less breath she was able to take and eventually she ended up going under without resurfacing.

The blades were avoided, but that didn't seem to be the issue. Helena submerged herself to get away, but couldn't get back up. This was a cheap way to get a kill, and the lake was stealing this one from the rogue. A sigh escaped his lips as he dropped his blades by the edge of the lake and dove in after Helena. Quickly he swam towards her and grabbed hold of her waist.
After doing so, he swam to the surface and then towards the bank where he lifted her up and tossed her on the shore. That was done, but there was no more need to fight. She wouldn't be in any condition to do so and that would take all of the fun out of it for Vyran. Another sigh escaped his lips as he walked down the shore line, grabbing his swords before he walked towards the treeline once more, hoping to be rid of her for a while.

She had only been under the water for at least a few seconds before strong hands had grabbed her around the waist and pulled her out of the water, she was unconcious for that part and it was almost impossible for anyone to deduce how long she would be in the black void for. Once he had swum to the surface with her and then tossed her on the ground, which she felt and for everyone's information that was extrememly painful given her current state at this moment in time.
Hopefully he wouldn't fight her anymore today if she were to wake up. Several minutes had passed and Helena was still unconcious as she lay there on the shore, her chest rising and falling ever so slightly, her robe was soaking wet and sticking to her a little more than she really would have liked. Another several minutes passed by and Helena still wasn't moving, but then she began to cough and splutter weakly, she opened her eyes and looked over at him as he was walking.
"V...V...Vyran.." she whispered.

The words were faint, but he could figure them out and he stopped walking. His blades were sheathed once more along their sheathes but his clothes were sticking to his body slightly. There wasn't a smile on his face, nor a smirk. His face along with the rest of his body were emotionless but he stopped walking and waited for whatever that needed to be said was said.
The worst thing that could happen right now was for Helena to view Vyran as a hero. He wasn't a hero and the only reason that he saved her was so that they could continue their fight some other time. Even the blood that was drawn along his eye had washed away in the lake and all he wanted was for her to finish whatever she had to say before he went off again.

"V... V... Vyran..." she repeated, her voice this time barely a whisper and very weak, she had alot of water in her throat and it was making her weaker, he had saved her and she had no idea why, prehaps his pride would have been hurt if he had allowed the lake to kill her rather than he do that himself. But she still wanted to know and was aching all over, at least her hip had stopped bleeding now and it wasn't as painful as it had been before she had almost drowned.
She moved her hand up and placed it in the air, allowing it to just hang there while she pointed a slender finger at him and moved her head to the side a little more. Her mouth had been closed as soon as she had said his name the second time, now, as she went to open her mouth to ask why water came out and she could have sighed. "W...why?" She asked, waiting for his explanation.

He heard her question as to why he had saved her and Vyran sighed a bit. Shaking his head, he took a deep breath before speaking up. "I did not do it to save your life, Helena. I did it to preserve my prey. You are my kill and I will not allow anyone or anything to steal that from me." His words held a sincere tone to them and soon he began to walk once more.
Soon enough Vyran had disappeared into the woods once more, his hand wringing the water out of his hair once more. This had not been a day to remember for Vyran and all he wanted to do was get to his clearing and rest, hope that the next will be much better.

She waited for his response and didn't get her hopes up high she knew the real reason as to why he had saved her, but had wanted to confirm her suspicions about it anyway and she had done that already without him even opening his mouth beforehand. She nodded in response to what he had said and continued to look at him as he walked away, her mouth was open and she wasn't moving, she was just staring after him, something told her that there may have been more to that than he had said, but again she didn't want to think about it.
Helena still couldn't move and her eyes were beginning to get very heavy as she lay there, the darkness was slowly closing in on her and a light breeze had rustled the leaves on the trees, causing Helena to shudder as she closed her eyes and fell back into the black void once more. The day turned to night and Helena's lips were turning to blue as she lay there, freezing cold and no doubt shivering.

Near the clearing another thought popped into Vyran's mind. He had preserved his prey from the lake, but now the cold was coming and encroched on his territory. Now he was going to have to be a savior twice in one day. A sigh escaped his lips as he turned around and walked back to the lake. It was just as he thought, Helena still lay there, shivering due to the cold.
Shaking his head, Vyran walked towards her and lifted her up over his shoulder turning around once more to walk to his clearing. The walk was a bit harder than before, he had never made the walk with anything on his shoulder, it was always him dragging his prey, but he needed to preserve this one for the time being. Once he had gotten there, he placed the body down near the fire pit and built a fire. The heat alone should preserve her through the night and soon Vyran climbed up into the trees, hoping to get a bit of rest.
